The Redbridge Institute of Adult Education offers a range of vocational and personal development courses for adults ranging from cookery and IT to photography or London cultural studies. The Redbridge Institute has been providing high quality, part-time vocational and personal development courses for local people since 1975. Over forty years, we have evolved from a specialist provider of evening courses to a purpose-built facility offering hundreds of different part-time courses. The Redbridge Institute of Adult Education offers vocational and personal development courses for adults. There are hundreds of courses to choose from and all are part-time with a choice of day or evening study.

Mildmay Neighbourhood Learning Centre

The Mildmay Neighbourhood Learning Centre is a voluntary-run charity, established in 1967 with the aim of providing adult education for local people. All courses at the Centre are free and non-accredited although many of our students go on to become accredited later these courses are accredited by City & Guilds, NVQ and QCF. We have a wonderful volunteer team who teach; members of our past student body have gone on to live fulfilling lives, getting jobs they love, volunteering in the community, and being active in their communities with people they love and trust.

Any student at the Centre has a right to a free course if they don’t manage to find work after completing their studies with us within 4 years. The Mildmay Neighbourhood Learning Centre runs adult (18-plus) education courses in computing, English, maths and ESOL. We also operate an Information and Advice service which is available on Tuesday evenings. The college also runs family and neighbourhood learning programmes. New Citycollege Redbridge Campus

New City College is a comprehensive state funded further education and higher education college. This means that people over the age of 14 years old are welcome to study with us, providing they otherwise meet the legal residence requirements for entry into a further education college in England. New City College is now offering courses at Redbridge. In London, we’re really proud to be a part of the ever expanding community of people that make up New City College.

Our education team are working hard to generate some exciting opportunities for learners in the heart of Redbridge. New City College has 150 years of experience providing exceptional learning opportunities for adults and people aged 14 years and over. We also deliver a wide range of courses that are fully funded, including open and adult education courses. New City College provides study programmes for young people aged 14 years old up to university graduates. The college has many courses that can be studied on a part time basis to suit those who work during the day.
