Redbridge is in.

Redbridge has submitted its bid to become London Borough of Culture.

Thank you to everyone who supported the bid and got involved, either by pledging your support, sending us your This Is Redbridge shoutouts or telling us about your hidden gems in Redbridge. It’s wonderful to have had so much community support for the campaign. But it’s not over yet…

About the bid

This Is Redbridge puts our communities at the centre of our bid to become the London Borough of Culture.

Our friends at 64m Artists ran creative workshops with people across the borough over the last few weeks and got some great ideas to support our bid submission.

Redbridge’s bid has been submitted and the winner of London Borough of Culture 2019 and 2020 will be announced in February 2018.

It’s not over yet. We still have until February to show the judges that This Is Redbridge. You can still get involved with our campaign by using #ThisIsRedbridge and #mylocalculture on social media. You can also show your support or connect your community to the bid.
